I am sure you have a lot of questions about wedding photography. Here is my attempt to answer the most common questions:

How would I describe my photographic style?

I love beauty, and I find that I express it in many different way. Primarily, I would classify myself as a photojournalist, favoring candid images and capturing every moment & emotion from your wedding day.

How would I describe my working style?

Other than during formal photographs and portraits, I try to stay out of the way. I prefer that you not even know that I am taking pictures. Of course, I may make some suggestions on where the best light is available, so that I can take and give you the most beautiful photographs from your wedding day.

What type of equipment do I use?

I use Nikon Digital SLRs, Nikon lenses & Nikon flashes.

Do I shoot in color or black and white?

I shoot everything in color. However, there are many pictures that I convert to black and white when I feel it will create a stronger image.

Can you give me a list of shots you would like?

Yes. I am happy to take a list of shots to help me understand what is important to you. While I cannot guarantee to get every shot you want, I feel that it does help me to better capture memories important to you.

Am I the photographer that will shoot your wedding?

Yes.

Do I have any assistants or 2nd photographers?

No, not normally. If you would like a 2nd photographer at your wedding, I can have one available at an additional charge.

Do I have backup equipment?

Yes, I have multiple backups for everything.

How do I dress for a wedding?

Typically, I will wear dress pants and a polo or button down shirt depending on the season and weather. Because I am on my feet all day, I do usually wear black sneakers.

Can I customize a package based on my needs?

Yes, I am happy to work with you to create a package that best suits your needs and desires. Contact me using my contact form to find out more.

Do I provide retouching, color adjustment or other corrective services?

Yes, every photograph that I deliver will have been color corrected. Many will be hand retouched, cropped, etc. in order to give you the best photographs from your wedding.

How long after the wedding will you receive your photos?

Typically, it takes me about 4-6 weeks to go through the thousands of photographs I take at a wedding, edit them & deliver them.

What is the ordering process?

If you would like to order professional reprints or enlargements, I typically communicate with my clients via email using the numbering system on their image files or from their proof book.

Will I give you the negatives or digital images?

Yes, I provide web ready images in all my packages and the digital negatives with my top two packages. I do this because I believe every person should have full access to all of the pictures from their wedding day to share with friends and online.
